Image Gallery: The Joshua Tree National Park in California

Joshua Tree National Park is a protected area in southern part of California just about three hours drive from the city of San Diego. It is known for its rugged rock formations and stark desert landscapes. Named for the region’s twisted, bristled Joshua trees, the park sits within the cactus-dotted Colorado Desert and the Mojave Desert, which is higher and cooler. See and discover the beautiful landscapes and different vegetation in the park.
